This semi-annual education seminar focuses on settlement conferencing in a comprehensive interactive program. The duration of this program was two days.
The objective of the session was to share effective approaches to resolving matters and to “learn by doing” with case scenarios drawn from the experiences of colleagues.
A number of Chief Justices spoke about case scenarios and their effective approaches to resolving matters before them. Near the end of the presentation the seminar closed with a session on time management by Carleton University Professor, Timothy Pychyl, who explores the motivations and psychology underlying time management and strategies for optimal productivity.
