The Canadian Tax Foundation’s regional conference for Eastern Canada offers a specialized environment to discuss tax issues specific to the Atlantic region.
This is the premier regional tax conference where judges participate in, contribute to, and learn from sessions designed to improve their substantive knowledge and skills, thereby gaining the ability to handle issues most commonly experienced in Atlantic Canada.
This conference was devoted entirely to issues of Canadian taxation and tax policy, using various workshops and plenary sessions. It focussed on corporations operating internationally. Session topics included: cross-border tax issues; businesses with a focus on importing and exporting; and the intricacies of navigating tax compliance within multinational jurisdictions.
Faculty members included representatives from private law firms, the Canada Revenue Agency and judges from the Tax Court.
